Solid Hardwood Stair Treads & Bespoke Timber Finishes

Our oak, ash, and walnut stair treads are manufactured to the highest standard,
where finish, durability, and craftsmanship are paramount. Designed as premium
architectural features, both our timber treads and landings enhance modern and
contemporary staircase designs.

All timber treads are produced from solid, genuine hardwood — never thin veneers
bonded to inferior core materials. Each individual timber section is carefully planed,
assembled, and sandwiched together before being vacuum-pressed until fully cured.
This process delivers exceptional structural strength and completely eliminates the
risk of delamination.

Once cured, every tread undergoes a detailed machining and sizing process. All faces
are precision-cut to be perfectly straight and square, while the edges and underside
are accurately routed to guarantee precise fitment. The result is a consistently
high-quality timber stair tread that delivers a flawless finish and long-term
performance.

All timber stair treads are professionally oiled and sealed, providing a durable,
high-quality finish that requires no additional treatment prior to installation.

We also offer a walnut-effect or black stain as a cost-effective alternative to solid
walnut. This option is best applied to oak treads (and is not recommended for ash),
delivering the rich appearance of walnut at a significantly reduced cost. If you
